JustTip was founded by James Fahy and Ciara Walsh, who set out to create a solution for operators, their teams, and customers trying to leave a tip.
James and Ciara started JustTip in 2021 after James couldn’t tip his local restaurant post-pandemic. No cash and no option on the terminal left staff short at the end of a shift.
Ciara had spent years working in Irish hospitality and knew the other side: operators were stretched, and managing tips was just another thing on their plate. With new legislation pending, JustTip was born.
Five years later, JustTip is the market leader in Ireland and growing rapidly across the UK and EU, a platform built around the needs of the operators using it.
